How much does everything cost?
Comprehensive Exam In Person
Duration: 1.5 hours
Cost: $200
A comprehensive exam conducted in person is essential for thoroughly evaluating the connection between your symptoms and Myofunctional Impairments. All necessary photos and data collection for your personalized care plan are taken during this session. Following the exam, we develop a customized treatment plan to address your needs effectively, ensuring success.
Comprehensive Exam via Telehealth
Duration: 1.5 hours
Cost: $200
The Comprehensive Exam via Telehealth is equally crucial for understanding the correlation between your symptoms and Myofunctional Impairments. Through this exam, we gather essential information to devise a tailored treatment plan, ensuring optimal results.
Therapy Sessions
Therapy package fees are variable and will be discussed on an individual basis.
Please note that fees are subject to change.

When is payment due?
Payment for the comprehensive exam is required at the time of service. For therapy sessions, the total fee is due in advance. This ensures a streamlined process and allows us to focus solely on your care during the session.

What types of payment do you accept?
We provide convenient payment options, including major credit cards, ACH checks, and cash. You can securely make payments online through our patient portal for added ease and efficiency.

If you require assistance with payment or accessing the portal, our team is here to help.
Additionally, we offer third-party financing options if needed. Feel free to inquire about these during your comprehensive evaluation.
Do you offer a discount for families?
Absolutely! We're pleased to offer a 25% discount for patients from the same family, providing additional savings and convenience for families seeking our services together.

Are there additional fees and/or expenses?
We strive to maintain transparency regarding costs and endeavor to keep them as minimal as possible, encompassing all necessary aspects within our therapy fees. However, there may be instances where additional costs arise:
Cancellation Fees
If you're unable to attend your appointment, kindly notify us at least 24 hours in advance to accommodate other patients. While we understand emergencies occur, frequent cancellations (more than three times during treatment) may impact your ability to schedule future appointments.  A cancellation fee will be added to your account for appointments that are canceled or missed without 48-hour notice.
Treatment by Collaborating Providers or Specialists
In cases where referral to another provider or specialist is necessary, any treatment they provide will be separate from the cost of myofunctional therapy.
Additional Therapy Tools
While we aim to provide all necessary therapy tools upfront, there may be occasions where a specialized tool is required. In such instances, you will be responsible for the cost of the tool. Rest assured; these tools will be priced at cost without additional fees from Myology.
We believe in open communication regarding costs and are committed to ensuring your therapy journey is as seamless and effective as possible.

Do you take insurance?
Currently, Myology operates as a fee-for-service therapy practice, allowing us to dedicate our time to providing optimal patient care. Upon request, we can provide superbills that detail the services rendered. However, it's important to note that a superbill does not guarantee reimbursement.
It's worth mentioning that most insurance companies do not typically cover myofunctional therapy. We prioritize transparency in our approach, ensuring our patients are informed about insurance coverage and financial arrangements from the outset.
Can I use my Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA)?
Absolutely! Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are both viable options for covering the costs of Myofunctional Therapy. These funds can be utilized to support your journey toward improved oral health and overall well-being.
